“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

– Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

The plans I have for you…

Greetings from Bogotá, Colombia! I arrived here in Colombia on June 23, 2015. I will be serving as the site coordinator for Inca Link Colombia until August 7, 2015. During this summer, ILC will be hosting four interns and three teams! In addition to my normal roles as intern coordinator and team logistics, I will be the main Inca Link International presence on site in Colombia.

A team from Kamloops, BC, Canada arrived today. They are Inca Link’s second team ever in Colombia and first Canadian team! Please pray for Inca Link Colombia as our newest location continues to grow.

… to prosper you…

Thank you to all of my supporters!! I have not had to ask for additional funds even though I’m nearly three months into the second year of my time with Inca Link in South AmWattsNewsletterPictureerica, praise God! However, I will need to raise more funds before the end of 2015 if I continue to work with Inca Link as a missionary.

Currently, 30% of my yearly budget is covered by monthly donors. If you’ve supported me in the past with a one-time gift, would you prayerfully consider supporting my ministry as a monthly donor, or with another one-time gift? Ideally, 100% of my budget should be covered by monthly supporters, but I trust that God will provide the funding for as long as he desires my ministry to continue. Thank you!!

… and not to harm you…

Praise God! My knee is almost completely healed from the injury that I suffered last fall. I have been able to start playing soccer again and I even climbed a 15,413ft high volcano (photo) that borders Quito

with some of our summer interns! It was hard work, but the beauty of God’s creation was well worth it!

… plans to give you hope and a future.

I absolutely love my “job”!! My hope is that I will be able to continue doing ministry in South America with Inca Link for years to come! This can only be done through the help of my supporters – YOU!

This next year will be a lot different. The founders of Inca Link, Rich and Elisa Brown, will be on furlough in Texas for one year beginning today! Due to this, I am expecting to have even more responsibilities within our Inca Link team during this year. Please lift me up in prayer as many details about this coming year are still undiscovered!

Prayer Requests

  • An impactful experience for the Colombia interns and teams this summer.
  • The reaching of fundraising goals for 2015.

Praises

  • Healing for my injured knee/good health!
  • A phenomenal group of 23 interns serving with Inca Link this summer in Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia!
