poco a poco 1

“Poco a poco” means “little by little” in Spanish. It’s a word that I have been hearing for the past year. I talk about learning Spanish and desiring to speak Spanish fluently and they say, “Poco a poco.” I am trying to buy things for my apartment and they say, “Poco a poco.” Even with my relationship with Jesus Christ, I desire to be more faithful, more patient, more like Christ, but it’s a process. 1 John 2:6 says, “Whoever says that he lives in God must live as Jesus lived.” It’s a walk, paso a paso (step by step).

So I want to encourage you to keep walking step by step, little by little. Yes, God can transform lives in an instant, but other times He uses the process: poco a poco.
