Happy Terrific Tuesday! This Tuesday is a little different because we have some exciting news – we are opening another Inca Link country!
- Daniel, why are you and Nayeli finishing up your time in Honduras and what are you doing next? Our family has been in Honduras since 2019, and it has been an amazing six years of learning, being humbled, seeing God’s work, and right now we have an awesome local leadership. Some of the kids we met are teenagers now, which is amazing. They are doing everything on their own. Thank you for supporting Inca Link Honduras and please continue to support them. Seeing all this growth and praying a lot, we have seen it is time for our family to go to a different place, and this place is … Spain!
- Inca Link Spain is opening up this month! What does Spain have to do with reaching the 300 million youth of Latin America? In our ministries in Honduras, but also when I was the ED (executive director) for Inca Link Peru, we realized that a lot of kids and their families have moved to Spain looking for a different kind of life. That’s important because the population that attended church in Spain used to be 0.2% but it has now grown to 2% and it is growing because of immigration more than evangelism. So people like Peruvians, Hondurans, Ecuadorians and many others are going from a Christian culture to a post-Christian culture and finding different churches. What we want to do as Inca Link Spain is to reach these new generations, work with them to incorporate them in this new context and live their faith and follow Jesus.
- Nayeli was one of those immigrants when she was a little girl, which is one of the signs God gave us. When she moved to Spain, she had to deal with all the things the immigrants are dealing with, and that is one of our passions because we saw Nayeli’s struggles. We think God has huge plans for these teenage immigrants.
- 70% of immigrants in the United States are Christian, and the same thing seems to be happening in Spain. Let’s go support Spain, let’s go on missions trips to Spain. Don’t forget Honduras, let’s keep going there as well. May God continue to extend His Kingdom here on earth.
Have a great week. God bless you.
