Terrific Tuesdays 3-26-24

Happy Terrific Tuesday! We’re excited to be sitting here telling you about some of the great things God has been doing in Inca Link.

  • Bolivia has been a main theme lately. We are in Bolivia right now squinting our eyes and ears to see if maybe this is the next Inca Link country. Please pray for Bolivia and the potential Inca Link Bolivia as we are trying to reach the 300 million youth of Latin America.
  • As you may now know, we like to celebrate our heroes that are working 24/7 serving the Lord on the ground. Here are today’s heroes:
  1. Gideon and Becky Miller – They have been working with us for all of two weeks! We are thankful for them and their obedient spirit. They have a daughter and are expecting another baby! They are currently at the Ninawachi Mission Institute in Ecuador, where they will be serving as missionaries. A fun fact about them is that Gideon was an intern with us in 2011, and he studied at Ninawachi (in Spanish) and is one of many who have graduated from there. Now he is back and teaching at the school.
  2. Nacho – He is in Costa Rica working as one of our basketball coaches and a discipler for the Spartans basketball program. He is faithful, on time, doing things well, making Inca Link better. Something interesting about Nacho is that he’s dating Osiris, who is currently raising support to come serve in Costa Rica with Inca Link, as well!
  3. Angela – She has been the executive director of Inca Link Perú for nearly 3 years now. We remember telling her she would make a great executive director and she said, “No way, I would be in over my head!” This just shows her spirit of obedience and wanting to serve however God wants her to. She also has a baby who weighs 12 kilos!
  4. Orlando – He is in Inca Link USA running the soccer program in Bossier City, Louisiana, for immigrants. They have four men’s teams and four women’s teams, and they are talking about adding eight more teams next year! For Orlando, his wife and children, the ministry is much more than coaching and teaching soccer techniques, it’s about discipleship and pouring into those kids. You can just see how they are developing and shaping lives for Christ.

We have such a great team. We’re so thankful to God that we can be a part of what He is doing in Latin America. Thank you for praying for our heroes! God bless you.
