Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are in Costa Rica, pura vida (pure life)! As Ecclesiastes says, we should enjoy life and enjoy what we do, and we really enjoy what we are doing.
- As we have been in Central America for nearly three months, what we love is seeing how we’re entering a new stage. We spoke with Jake Edwards and Daniel Ascencio recently about how each country in Central America is moving into a maturing stage where we have all the systems set up so that our projects are effective and our ministries can reach people. We’re excited to be a part of this.
- Here are this month’s heroes:
- Jordyn Winfield has been a Global Outreach Coach for over a year now, but she started with us back during our first Link Year! She recently got married and we still have not gotten used to her new last name. They are also about to have a baby! Every team that serves with us wants to have a great Global Outreach Coach, and Jordyn is one of those coaches. Learn more about Global Outreach here.
- Claudia Medina has officially been with us around four years working with Mana in Peru as a teacher. She is very special to us because she was our sponsor child – the very first sponsored child with Inca Link! We were so blessed to be a part of her life and to see her grow and mature and be an influence on her family. When she graduated from high school, she was the first in her family to attend university! Inca Link Peru was able to help her in her studies, and now she’s a teacher with us.
- The Crosson family has been with us for a year doing videos for us! If you haven’t seen their videos, be sure to check them out here. They have four kids. It has been amazing to see how God is using them going as a missionary family all over the place.
- Galen is another Global Outreach Coach and is also celebrating one year with us. He’s a big muscular guy (like Rich) with a heart full of compassion. We got to know him in Guatemala, where we led a team from Crown College, and it was so much fun to see his heart, enthusiasm and passion for missions. He is also a very good worship leader and has a great voice. He also loves birds and is very interested and knowledgeable about different species. Learn more about Global Outreach Coaches here.
Have a great week!
