Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are so excited because today is Giving Tuesday, and so many of you have been giving to our project, Zoe Home, in Colombia. Zoe Home is specifically breaking the dysfunctional family cycles. Consider helping us with that by clicking here.
- We are excited to talk about some good friends and heroes of Inca Link today:
- Amanda Burge – She and her husband Shane were missionaries with us in Mexico first, then they moved to the US because they were taking care of family. Then when Luke left, we asked Amanda to fill his position and she has done a good job and we are grateful for her. We have known her since she was eight years old; her brother, Todd, is on the Inca Link board. It has been great to see Amanda leading the Inca Link International office staff.
- Chelsey Brunt – She is a pickleball fanatic. We are grateful to have had her on board for seven years. She works with Cumbre Alta in both Ecuador and the US. Something we love about Chelsey is she is very calm and steady, but you can always see that love for lost people that she has. From the minute she arrived in Ecuador, she was willing to take the trolleys and the buses for hours, strike up conversations with people, and generally show interest in loving others well.
- Pablo and Kusi Saccsara – They are a couple that was born in Peru, they speak Quechua, Spanish, English, and other languages and dialects. They have three amazing boys. They have started a CrossFit ministry that is helping reach young people in Lima, Peru. Their ministry at Runa Simi has reach roughly 1.2 million children, and we are grateful for their partnership with Inca Link. They have been working with us for 10 years!
- Rachel Forman – She has been with us for six years, and we met her in Ecuador when she came with her university and she got in touch with us to ask what she could do to help minister in between her classes. She helped our Casa Elizabeth girls learn to make banana bread and started a small business through that. She gave birth to her fourth baby this week. Congratulations, Rachel!
- We are so grateful God has given us such an amazing team, as well as people who support our team and the projects God has called us to, so thank you! If you have not read our annual report about what God has done through Inca Link in 2024, take a look!
Thank you for all that you do for His Kingdom.
