Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are with the Burge’s at the border wall between Mexico and the US.
- What is it that you are doing here? Something that we remind people often is that transient populations are not about politics, they’re about human beings. This situation is about lives and families, individuals, little kids. So our ministry to them every day looks different. But we’re working intentionally to try to come alongside these individuals and meet the needs that they might have, because for them, home was too dangerous; they couldn’t stay. So now they find themselves displaced, and for us it’s all about rewriting the script of the lies of man with the truth of Jesus. Every day is different, but it’s always an adventure and we’re honored to be able to do this.
- The need for transient people seems so overwhelming. What can people do to help? Probably just like everything is different for us, that might look different in every community. Our encouragement is to dig deeper and to see that person in front of you as the image of God, and find out those needs individually and try to serve those the best you can.
- Please pray for Inca Link Mexico as they’re serving people in need.
- Thank you for being a part of Inca Link! You are making a difference, and we are grateful to have you on our team.
Have a great week everybody!
