Terrific Tuesdays 7-16-24

Happy Terrific Tuesday! We have some exciting updates and heroes we want to recognize today.

  • We have had an amazing last couple of weeks with six teams from the Central Canadian District: 49 people of all ages serving across four countries. It was a wonderful experience serving with them and seeing them give their all.
  • As we think about heroes, we are thinking about people who have had an impact in Inca Link. Here are some of those heroes:
  1. Nicole Higgins – Nicole has probably had the most impact behind the scenes. She has been working with us for nine years; we remember when Joseph, her predecessor, was trying to find the right person to hire and he developed an equation to help the person run the finances. Nicole was the only one that applied who was able to solve the equation. She’s getting ready to have her second baby! She has been the voice of reason for us and we are so grateful for her.
  2. Jeff and Chloe – Chloe was an intern with us and Jeff was working with the Easons at Bonsai. They met while serving at Bonsai and fell in love. They have been serving with us as a couple for two years now. They initially planned to become missionaries to Costa Rica, but things fell through; they were then going to be part of Jake and Jenn’s team in Argentina, but that has been put on hold; then the Lord called them to Peru and they came just at the right time to be able to take over our Mana ministry. They are so amazing and we are so thankful for them.
  3. Grace Campbell – Grace served with us on a global outreach team (formerly known as a short-term team) back in the day. She has a huge dog and her husband is working as an air traffic controller. She has been working with us in donor relations for one year, helping the whole office reach out to people and let them know how grateful we are for them.
  4. Jessica Dame – Jessica has been officially working with us for one year, but she has been around much longer. She is our curriculum coordinator, and she used to visit us during our Corban tours. She has a heart for service and we are so thankful for her. She recently had a bad accident where she was burned and had to be in the hospital. Please pray for her as she heals.
  • Finally, we want to praise God for the way He has been providing for the Cumbre Alta fields. We are just missing $60,000 (as of today) of our $1.2 million goal! Thank you so much to those who have been helping with that. If you are interested in helping us reach this goal, learn how you can help here.

Have a great week and Lord bless you.
