Happy Terrific Tuesday! We are so happy because we are here with Daniel, Nayeli and beautiful baby Alec in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
- How are the ministries of Inca Link Honduras going? The ministries are growing and doing great. With Casa Onesíforo, we just had 64 kids attend the kids’ celebration day. It was amazing! That does not mean only 64 kids attended, but also their families participated and got to know Christ! They also got to visit the church where Carlos and Ale, the leaders of the Casa Onesíforo program, are the pastors. Also, in La Sierra, Miriam is teaching the teenagers to make typical Honduran tablecloths so they can make their own to sell. This means we will soon have some Honduran tablecloths available for the next teams that come serve with us! Also, the kids in our leadership program are improving a lot, and many of them are going back to school, which is great news!
- There’s also a new ministry starting in Inca Link Honduras. Explain to us what that’s about? So this new ministry called “Recess”, “El Recreo” in Spanish, began because we got to go with a team to the school that our kids are attending and we realized they do not have a recess time. That’s so boring because the best part about school is recess! So we got to talk to the principal of the school and she asked if we could come and lead some games for the kids. So, we do that every other week and we are teaching them that “Christ is not boring”. Through these games, we are teaching the gospel, and we would like to invite you to come serve with us and help us share with these kids that Christ is not boring.
- You can come be a part of these schools, these ministries, we would love to have you come on a global outreach team.
Have a great week everybody.
